The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) appointed TFH Hire Services as the Games Official Supplier of Security Fencing in September 2017.

GOLDOC General Manager, Commercial, Cameron Murray said he was pleased to welcome another Queensland business success story to the GC2018 Sponsor Family.

“It is great to see local businesses, in this case a family business like TFH, getting on board to support the largest event in Queensland’s history.

“TFH will supply and install almost 22,000 metres of perimeter or security fencing to support the delivery of Games overlay.

“From humble beginnings operating out of a small backyard shed, 20 years later TFH are going for gold with GC2018.”

TFH Hire Services founder, Owen Thomas said the company was proud to sponsor GC2018.

“Over the years, TFH Hire has been involved in many exciting and unique events although we recognise GC2018 as the most prestigious to date.

“Head Office has been based in Logan for more than 20 years. We now have 40 branches nationally including four located in South East Queensland and employ over 500 people.

“We are looking forward to the challenge this event brings and are honoured to assist in showcasing our beautiful city.”
